Tina Boyd
Youth Minister
I am originally from Roswell, GA (a northern suburb of Atlanta). I like the color purple, Italian food, and running (the last two seem to be inextricably linked). I am the oldest of three. I have a brother and a step-brother, however we’ve been a family long enough that “steps” have melted away. I did my undergraduate degree at Auburn University (yes I do bleed orange and blue). Growing up, my biological mom’s parents lived in Auburn, and my dad’s lived (and one still lives) in Tallahassee, FL, so any time I went to see family I was in a college town. Sometimes when I was little I would get confused and say War Eagle and do the Tomahawk chop at the same time, but I’ve no trouble with the differentiation now. :)
After I graduated from Auburn (Bachelor’s of Science in Human Development and Family Studies), I moved back home to save money while I job searched. Eventually, I happened upon the Graduate Residency position with the Center For Youth Ministry Training. And now, I am a graduate of CYMT, complete with 3 years serving on a youth ministry team, and a Master’s of Arts in Youth Ministry.
