Muslims and Christians: More Alike Than You May Realize This talk will focus on the similarities, often unknown, between the Muslim and Christian faiths. In a time when media outlets and political pundits portray Islam and Muslims as the threatening “other,” incompatible with American ideals, attendees will learn just how much commonality Islam shares with Christianity. The major beliefs and practices of Islam will be introduced and discussed with comparisons being made to the Christian faith. A question and answer session will follow the talk.
Lunch will be served. Cost: $7.00
